Sugary treats can be tempting and satisfy your needs but do you know that sweet treats are made up of refined sugar? Not only it contributes to your waist line, but it also contributes to wrinkles, breakouts, fatigue and age spots.
Sugar is a major cause for the formation of AGE's (Advanced Glycation End) which is the major cause of that leads to breakdown of collagen. Sugar may be addictive but it can take a toll on your skin and body, it steals nutrients from your body such as water (hydration), keeps your immune system on hold and makes you more prone to falling ill.

By eating refined sugar, you will slow down your metabolism and slow down the process of weight loss. The other type of sugar is the artificial sweeteners which will take a toll on your skin, it can cause dehydration, weight gain, bloating and headaches.
Sounds scary? Well stop eating refined sugar or artificial sweeteners. You can obtain sugar from a fruit that can help with your sugary cravings such as strawberries, blueberries or even apples! They are jam packed with antioxidants and they're beneficial for your skin. Detailed post coming soon!
